Drills for Sok Sabay Programmes

In preparation for our visit to Sok Sabay Centre, we try minimise confusions when we are there. So, a drill before we carry out the actual programme is definitely something we must have. The drill is carried out after our examination alongside with our honoured guest, Esther, the president of Key Club Ping Yi Secondary School.

Smile, smile, smile. We can assure you that our Kiwanians will definitely leave a unforgettable experience for the Sok Sabay Children.

Everyone tries to strike a nice pose!

Newspaper Collection

Do you know that we collect newspaper from our neighbourhood over the past few months?

We have been collecting newspaper at the end of three consecutive months. It was tiring but it certainly was an enriching and fun filled experience for every Key Clubbers. As we all know, is it not easy to have the courage to knock up on a stranger's door and communicate with them. It also requires to lots of team spirit to complete the task in 4 hours. Moreover, it also exercises discipline to our individual self as we are required to wake up  early in the morning and report to school.

Our Key Clubbers have certainly work hard to raise sufficient fund to subsidize the cost of the Cambodian trip.
The purpose of the fund raising is to :
  • Let Key Clubbers understand the pain of labour and make them work hard to enjoy the fruits of success, that is, a subsidized Cambodia trip!
  • Let Key Clubbers realized there is no free lunch in the world, in other words, no pain, no gain!
  • Make them understand that every role played in the society is important and crucial

I believe that the funds raised will help us cherish what we have now. The picture below shows the effort put in by our fellow Key Clubbers as well as our dedicated advisors during the collection!
